BaRock Jewelry

BaRock Jewelry was born from a desire to create something unique and meaningful. Founder Estibaliz (Esti) Yuguero studied architecture at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of San Sebastián, originally intending to design cities. Along the way, she discovered something even more fascinating: nature, and how it builds its own world. That fascination, combined with a growing interest in parametric design and 3D modeling, became the foundation for BaRock.

In 2018, Esti moved to Madrid to train in digital design, digital manufacturing, and handcrafted jewelry techniques, learning to combine advanced technology with traditional craftsmanship. She returned to the Basque Country and began experimenting, eventually launching BaRock Jewelry in 2020 with a clear proposition: 3D-printed jewelry inspired by nature.

Every BaRock piece starts with the natural world around her, the curve of a leaf, the structure of a sea urchin, a flower in full bloom, modeled in 3D and 3D-printed in lightweight resin using techniques impossible to achieve by hand alone. Each piece is then individually hand-painted in her workshop, the final step that gives every design its character and ensures no two pieces are exactly alike.

BaRock has since been recognized as a registered artisan brand in the Bizkaia artisan registry, validating both its craftsmanship and its innovative approach, and its pieces are now stocked at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum store in Getaria and Azkuna Zentroa (DendAZ) in Bilbao. Looking ahead, BaRock plans to collaborate with other artists and designers, launch new themed collections, and continue fusing technology and craftsmanship, pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful, rooted in a constant pursuit of perfection, innovation, and the elegance of Basque nature.
